Ian is a specialist commercial litigator and partner in our litigation team.

His core areas of expertise are project litigation in corporate recovery, intellectual property and property disputes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws, Bond University
• Admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia

• Defending a body corporate in a claim brought by an incorporated association over disputed property entitlements.
• Advising a public corporation on a long running technology contract dispute.
• Defending a stockbroking firm against negligence claims brought by investors.
• Acting in relation to a number of partnership and business dissolutions either in court or under the Commercial Arbitration Act.
• Advising a large local manufacturer in a multitude of litigious claims for and against it.
• Advising and acting for intellectual property holders in enforcing their rights.
