Retained by the Queensland Government to advise on:
- the Iconic Queensland Places Bill;
- the Environmental Protection and Other Legislation Amendment Bill; and
- the Mining and Other Legislation (Safety and Health Fee Amendment Bill).
Successful negotiation and $4 million settlement with DMR concerning land acquisition. (Matter was ongoing for seven years; Hynes Lawyers achieved settlement within three weeks of being instructed.)
Supreme court applications for statutory right of user (Shopping centre project).
P & E appeal (Shopping centre).
Consultant on Macau condominium project.
Advice and consultation on Malaysian property IPO. (Resulted in a request to join the board of directors.)
